2005 ACSP Conference Boycott debate archive
*The 2005 ACSP conference was scheduled to take place in Charleston, South Carolina (Clemson University). On March 19, 2005 the ACSP Governing Board decided to move the conference to Kansas City. The move was prompted by a divisive debate about the pros and cons of supporting the NAACP’s Boycott of South Carolina ( NAACP boycott organizers asked the ACSP to relocate the 2005 Annual ACSP conference out of the state of South Carolina). The debate is now archived on the GPEIG web site. The intent is to provide an historical account (resource) for all ACSP members as we collectively strive to continually improve our organization.( Boycott debate archive)
