Fourth Biennial Ph.D. JAMBOREE at the University of British Columbia June 8-14 2009
Hello Everyone:
This is the second and last reminder that your applications for the 2009 PhD Jamboree (SEE LINK TO ANNOUNCEMENT BELOW) must be received before January 1, 2009. Imagine yourself with 30 or more Planning PhD students from all over the world for a week of exploring core research issues in a congenial, relaxed environment in beautiful Vancouver. Mike Douglass whose recent researches on civic spaces in East Asian cities have been the subject of several symposia and Margaret Crawford from Harvard’s GSD whose work on everyday urbanism has been inspirational for many will be keynoters. In addition, you will meet Leonie Sandercock and other leading planning academics.
Applications are easy: just send me your cv and a 1-page statement of your research interests. That’s all it takes.
