GPEIG travel grant applications for students going to Chicago ACSP/AESOP

We are pleased to be able to offer again the Gill-Chin Lim Grants for student travel to this year’s ACSP/AESOP conference in Chicago this July. Please forward this link to students who will be presenting papers. Attached is the application form and eligibility information. Please send applications to Petra Doan via email by the June 20 deadline.

The ACSP Global Planning Educators Interest Group (GPEIG) will support student travel to the ACSP Conference in Chicago, Illinois. The grantees will receive their award checks and be recognized at the ACSP Business meeting.
Criteria:
Only graduate planning students enrolled at an ACSP member school during the 2007-2008 year; presenting papers at the conference with a focus on an international development/global planning topic, with a special focus on low-income countries of the global south, and traveling more than 100 miles are eligible to apply.
The application must be sent electronically and must include:
1) Complete application form (see attachment)
2) An up-to-date one-page vita that includes the student?s research interests, projects, and previous papers presented and/or published.
3) Abstract (250 words maximum) of the paper to be presented at the conference.
Award: US $250
