New track for 2011! Track 16 Theme Track, Envision: This year, ACSP includes a special mini Track 16 focused on the conference theme, ENVISION. Track 16 will have three highlighted sessions featuring papers that explicitly aim to showcase work that pushes the boundaries of planning research and envisions planning’s future through innovative lenses. In addition, other tracks may highlight sessions containing papers that are especially cross-cutting in their approach.
New procedure for 2011 - As always, you will be required to indicate the track where you believe your abstract fits (Track Descriptions). This year, we will also ask that you let us know if your abstract may also be a good fit for a different track. If you submit to the new Track 16 Theme Track, Envision, you will be required to indicate a second track.
And another new procedure for 2011! After the conference is over, the ACSP submits application for the entire annual conference program to be approved for AICP credit. During the abstract submission process, you will be asked to choose from a simple pull-down menu to indicate any AICP-related topics from your abstract. This will help tremendously in the application process post-conference.
