Bio/Research Summary:
Architect, planner and economist. Professor at the University of Cincinnati School of Planning since 1984. Has worked and lived in Indonesia and Thailand on and off from 1990 to 2001. Currently working on research on the implications of culture-based models of economic development on the cultural heritage and resources of the affected regions. This year I am in Brazil on sabbatical leave studying issues of poverty and favela improvements in Brazilian cities.
